چکیده
Background : According to the World Health Organization (WHO), hearing loss is fourth largest disability globally, affecting an estimated 466 million people in 2018. In Indonesia, prevalence of was at 16.8% 2016. Intra-Arterial Heparin Flushing (IAHF) endovascular technique that uses heparin promote reperfusion and increases Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF) expression. VEGF a polypeptide angiogenesis factor present nervous system, which functions as neurotrophic neuroprotective. Meanwhile, prestin protein outer ear hair cells shows early signs through increased levels cases cell damage. Objective This study aims evaluate effect IAHF on hearing-impaired patients. Methods The design experimental with Pre-Post Test One-Group Only. A total 22 patients were measured for before 4 hours after procedure. Results results Wilcoxon test showed no significant differences level (p=0.658) (p=0.291) mean insignificant decrease procedure values 1,185+1,229 pg/mL 1,096+1,183 pg/mL, respectively. However, insignificantly 484.83+274.6 498.79+257.7 Conclusion There there increase level.

Methodological Concerns Regarding Levels of Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF) in Serum of Women with Endometriosis
s:865:"We read with interest the manuscript entitled "Serum and peritoneal fluid levels of vascular endothelial growth factor in women with endometriosis" recently published in the International Journal of Fertility and Sterility (1). The authors measured the levels of vascular endothelial growth factor in serum and peritoneal fluid of 179 women, 90 of whom were diagnosed with endometriosis, an...
متن کاملPnm-9: Serum and Peritoneal Fluid Level of Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor in Endometriosis
Background: Endometriosis is known as one of the most common disease in women of reproductive age. Due to importance role of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in neo-vascularization for the implantation of endometrial cell and different reported results for VEGF level in the serum and peritoneal fluid (PF) in endometriosis patients, this study was designed to determine the serum and PF ...
متن کاملVascular Endothelial Growth Factor from Embryonic Status to Cardiovascular Pathology
Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) is a multifunctional cytokine with distinct functions in angiogenesis, lymphangiogenesis, vascular permeability, and hematopoiesis. VEGF is a highly conserved, disulfide-bonded dimeric glycoprotein of 34 to 45 kDa produced by several cell types including fibroblasts, neutrophils, endothelial cells, and peripheral blood mononuclear cells, particularly T ...

Objective(s): To investigate the effect of miR-103 on the angiogenesis of ischemic stroke rats via targeting vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) at the molecular level. Materials and Methods: Rat models had received the middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) or sham operation before grouping, and cell models of oxygen-glucose deprivation (OGD) were performed. FITC-dextran, matrigel, and ...
متن کاملEvaluation of Periodontal Disease Effect on the Expression of Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor and Nerve Growth Factor in Dental Pulp
Introduction: Researchers have always been interested in the close and mutual relationship between the pulp and periodontal tissues. Although the effects of pulpal disease on periodontium have been well known, the clear relationship between periodontitis and pulp has not been documented . It seems that bacteria and inflammatory products of periodontitis can affect pulp through accessory canals,...
